Children's Day is celebrated in India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birthday of the first prime minister of India Pandit jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children. On this day, many education and motivational programs for children are held all over India.Some schools in India give leave to their students on Children's Day while private schools organize a fair for their students.
               As part of NSS, We celebrated Children's day programme on November 14, 2023. The programme was conducted by 'BANSURI' group on General hall at 9.30 am. Anagha from English Department delivered an introductory talk about Children's day. Then Salma said the history of the day. Arya, Jafna presented the  poster. After that Syam Kumar H from physical science department conduct a quiz section.On 10 am onwards we started to prepare payasam for all students and teachers of Sabarigiri School. Then we distributed to all students and teachers of the school. It's such a great moment for us.
