This was the last day of our camp, and the valedictory function was held on this day. The function started at 10 a.m. First, there was a camp reflection, where each student and teacher shared their thoughts about the camp, discussing both the positives and negatives. After this, our principal, Dr. G. Roy, distributed certificates to all the students. After lunch, the students returned home at 2 p.m. The community and NSS camps, I can see how much I have evolved as a person. These experiences have profoundly changed my outlook on life and my place in society. Initially, I was primarily focused on my own ambitions, but through volunteering and community service, I gained a stronger sense of social responsibility and developed a greater empathy for others. I learned valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, and effective communication while collaborating with diverse groups to achieve shared objectives. These camps also taught me discipline, time management, and how to adapt to new situations. Additionally, I gained a deeper awareness of societal issues like poverty and inequality, motivating me to become more actively involved in social causes. The challenges I faced helped me grow in patience, resilience, and fulfillment, as I saw how even small actions can have a meaningful impact on the community.
The community living camp provided a valuable learning experience that significantly impacted my personal and social growth. Living and working together with diverse individuals fostered a sense of unity, teamwork, and mutual respect.
