As part of NSS , National Education Day was celebrated on 11 th November, 2023. We all know that National Education Day is celebrated in every year on the birth anniversary of the First Education Minister in Independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. As India's first education minister, he was convinced that education is a tool of social transformation. The Central Government in 2008 announced November 11 as the National Education Day. The first National Education Day celebrations were inagurated by President Pratibha Patil on November 11, 2008 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. National Education Day is celebrated to enhance and improvise the quality of education for students in the country.

Here the programme started at 11.45 am by Google Meet. The programme anchored by Ashtami, Student Representative from Mathematics department. Programme started with a prayer song based on Education by Reshma, from Mathematics department. Then Devi Welcomed each one of them to the programme. Our Principal Dr. Meera Raj Ma'am inaugurate the programme and talk about Education Day and It's Importance.Then Our Sreedevi Ma'am , Assistant Professor of Natural Science Department talk about the programme.
After that Introductory Speech held by Parvathy from Physical Science Department .Then Divya from Natural Science department talk about the history of the day. Then Simi said the Theme of the day. After that one Poster display and details from each assembly group ,three Slogan writing from each assembly group and three Quote display and speech from each assembly group. I presented a slogan related to Education on behalf of masters assembly group. After that conclusion held by Abdul Latheef, student representative. Then Our Principal Dr. Meera Raj Ma'am said the feedback of the programme. And finally the programme ended with Vote of Thanks held by Gopikrishna. The programme ended at 1pm .
